Pretty! Love both designs today … no favourite.

I love playing with these block designs in virtual quilts, but would probably limit the number of blocks in a real quilt so I could make the blocks much bigger!

A very neat and tidy formal garden with an interesting layout, and no weeds!

I am not in love with the overall combination of colours, but I love the design.

I wonder how easy, or hard, it would be to do a really big applique block?

It could be very impressive when complete, but getting it done could create some problems.

Many more applique blocks with an interesting result, though the quilting is a bit boring, apart from hose eight quilted versions of applique blocks.

Come fiddly applique blocks, some equally fiddly quilting motifs based on applique blocks … with a simple filler. That’s the way I like my real quilts.

My favourite is the second one of these two.

I like it a lot.

I love the second design.

The border blocks in the first were designed by removing one of the large flowers and the centre circle from the border blocks in the second. I prefer the one with the centre circle and two big flowers, but others might like the big centre flower.
